Singapore didn't start of on a good note as we had to bear the news of the passing of my 98 year old grandmother. In the spirit of our late grandmother we decided on remaining positive and still enjoying what was left of our 'siscation'.
To be honest, there really isn't much to do in Singapore either than shopping and maybe going to Universal Studios which we have already visited in Los Angeles. We arrived on the day of the 'Singapore National Day' so this was an advantage as public transport was free. It was however congested and the stares we were getting from locals weren't helping either.
We went to china town for dinner and were amazed by the vast difference between the KL and Singapore China Town. The Singapore China Town is clean and organised as compared to the KL one. The NYC China Town still does it for me though!

After our filling chicken rice and duck meal we decided on having the famous Japanese green tea gelato for dessert. One of the best gelato's I've ever tasted!

We railway hopped once again to Marina Bay where we were defeated by all the designer stores and the bourgei locals. After the long day we had we decided on heading back to the hotel to rest before dinner and some last minute shopping.
Singapore wasn't the best trip but we made the best of our 2 days there especially the times we would blast music in our hotel room and have a dancing marathon lol.
