Fast Fashion is a business model that comprises of producing inexpensive clothing produced rapidly by mass-market retailers in response to the latest trends. The fundamental problem with fast fashion is the negative impact it has on the environment.
We spoke to Dr. Patsy Perry, senior lecturer in Fashion Marketing at the University of Manchester about identifying a solution to the environmental challenges caused by fast fashion and whether a 'circular production model' is the solution to the environmental challenges caused by fast fashion.
